A photo of a single tree at about 3000m in south-tirol. I was skiing at the "seiser alm" where I found that tree at the very top of the ski-slope.

A HDR-Processed photo from the inside of the restaurant "Flieger & Flieger" in Laxenburg (Lower Austria). The photo was not taken by a friend of me on my 30th birthday (so it's already from February). I did the HDR Processing and some PS (curves, levels, surface blurring, ..)

Dragonfly

Last week I've been a lot into the vineyards around Baden. On a grassland I discovered a dragonfly flying around.
I sat down and waited till it stayed on a branch.
I took my Sigma 70-300 at 300mm, f14, 1/250 (manual mode) and my flash (off shoe) and took a few shots (took me about 1 hour).
Sadly the Sigma is a very poor lens - not very accurate, sharp and has a lot of CA.
Did some sharpening & blurring in Photoshop.

Shibuya at night!
Very busy Shibuya is known as one of the fashion centers of Japan, particularly for young people, and as a major nightlife area.
The Shibuya train station with an average of 2.4 million passengers per day is one of the busiest stations in Tokyo.

Owakudani Hakone HDR

HDR-Photo from a daytrip to Hakone. There are many hot springs and they sell there "black eggs". Eggs cooked in hot sulfur steam - when there are ready they are black. The smoke on the photo comes from the sulfur springs.

HDR Photo (will post other photos too) of the water tower in the 10th district of Vienna.
I always wanted to shoot the tower at night. Last week I've been there with my cousin. It was not as easy as I thought since the tower is not surrounded by other buildings.

Postprocessing: HDR, removing wires, denoising (still enough there), sharpening.

Big Ben at Night

Two weeks ago I've been in London (~my 8th time). I took several photos at night.
This is Big Ben from the Westminster Tube Station. I removed some reflections (there was a roof above the underground sign) and did some sharpening. Since I had no tripod I used a lamp post for stabilization.
