Last week I've been a lot into the vineyards around Baden. On a grassland I discovered a dragonfly flying around. I sat down and waited till it stayed on a branch. I took my Sigma 70-300 at 300mm, f14, 1/250 (manual mode) and my flash (off shoe) and took a few shots (took me about 1 hour). Sadly the Sigma is a very poor lens - not very accurate, sharp and has a lot of CA. Did some sharpening & blurring in Photoshop.

  • Pretty cool shot!
When I am out with my cam and family, there would be never so much time to take pictures.
That's maybe why I did not manage to get a great shot like this!
